I started Belle of the Carnival as a fun outlet for writing and connecting with other like-minded people. It morphed into this beautiful place that I visited weekly sharing thoughts, ideas, and humorous antics along the way. I had the pleasure to connect with so many people throughout the years.
Belle of the Carnival will always have a special place in my heart but it sits empty. My last post was over a year ago and I have slowly let this space go. In that time I have been quietly writing, reading, laughing with friends, and practicing yoga.
In fact, I am now a RYT 200 which means I am a certified yoga instructor and on a new journey which I have been blessed to connect, teach, and work with so many people in my community. Also on my journey I found a renewed love of writing and helped to co-edit Motherhood:Stories from the Mat.

I have also started a new blog with just my name! And I feel grown-up like I am finally beginning to take myself a little more serious. Well not that serious…
Many know me as Belle or Darcie now you can find me at darciecameron.com.It is there I will be covering health, mindfulness, yoga, meditation, and of course there will still be humor along the way.
In fact, at this very moment all of you who have subscribed with me have been placed on your magic yoga mats and ushered over to my new studio. Thanks, to the help of our wizardry wordpress engineers who rubbed the genie bottle three times to get you all over to my new site with comfort and ease!
Belle of the Carnival will always have a space in my heart! It brought so many wonderful opportunities and friends that I would have never met if it was not for this blog. A little sadness and happiness that this chapter of my life has come to an end. I hope you join me on this next adventure as I would love to reconnect with all of you.
I will be seeing you all soon with a warm cup of tea and a huge smile.
